Tux Paint is completely free software, released as “Open Source” software, under the provisions of the GNU General Public License (GPL), version 2. This means you may download it and install it on as many machines as you wish, copy it for friends and family, and give it to your local schools. In fact, we encourage this!

A new version of Tux Paint has been released! Version 0.9.26 is currently available for Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS, Android, Red Hat Linux, various Linux distributions (via Flatpak), and as source code. Read the press release.

Как самому создать штамп в Tux Paint

Для того чтобы создать штамп вам понадобиться фотография с персонажем или предметом, которую вы хотите сделать будущим штампом. После того как нужная фотография найдена откроем её с помощью программы Photoshop. Далее выделяем инструментом “Прямоугольная область” нужный нам фрагмент и нажимаем сочетание клавиш Ctrl+C тем самым скопировав нужную область в буфер обмена. Затем создадим новый файл с прозрачным фоном нажав Файл–Новый и в окошке содержимое фона выберем Прозрачный и нажимаем да. Если мы не выберем прозрачный фон то штамп у нас будет вставляться прямоугольный. В результате у нас получился новый файл с размерами скопированной области в буфере обмена. Нажимаем сочетание клавиш Ctrl+V тем самым вставив изображение в новый файл. Затем инструментом ластик вытираем все лишнее вокруг будущего штампа. На рисунке ниже вы видите половину проделанной работы все вокруг будущего штампа должно быть вытерто и выглядеть как шахматная доска. Когда закончите нужно сохранить изображение с расширением файла PNG. Так как на нашем примере мы делаем штамп с волком назовем его при сохранении wolf (название должно быть на английском). Для этого нажимаете Файл-Сохранить для Web выбираете PNG-24 и указываете размер будущего изображения ширину или высоту смотря что у вас больше не более 200-220 пикселей иначе штамп будет большой. Сохраняете изображение в предварительно созданную папку, пусть будет папка wolf (название обязательно должно быть на английском языке), которую создадим в C:\Program Files\TuxPaint\data\stamps\ итак конечный путь сохранения фотографии у нас получиться C:\Program Files\TuxPaint\data\stamps\wolf. Затем нам нужно создать текстовый файл с таким же именем как и штамп с расширением .dat и фразой внутри файла noflip. Легче всего зайти в C:\Program Files\TuxPaint\data\stamps\cartoon\tux\ и скопировать файл tux-drat.dat затем вставляем его в свою папку C:\Program Files\TuxPaint\data\stamps\wolf и просто переименуем его. Нажимаем на файл левой кнопкой мыши нажимаем F2 и меняем название на wolf и в результате мы получим файл wolf.dat вот и все штамп готов. Если вы хотите добавить звук к вашему штампу например сказать, что он обозначает (в нашем случае волк) тогда у вас должен быть микрофон. На рабочем столе нажимаем Пуск-Все программы-Стандартные-Развлечения-Звукозапись. В открывшемся окне нажимаем на красный круг произносим слово (в нашем случае волк) и нажимаем на черный квадрат. Сохраняем файл пока под любым именем так как он сохраняется с расширением .wav которое нам не совсем подходит нам необходимо его перекодировать в другое с расширением .ogg и в этом нам поможет программа Format Factory . Выбираем в ней аудио OGG и перекодируем наш файл с расширением .wav в .ogg это достаточно просто. Затем наш звуковой файл необходимо переименовать в wolf_desc.ogg (вначале ваше название а затем _desc) и перенести в папку C:\Program Files\TuxPaint\data\stamps\wolf. Вот в принципе и все теперь вы сможете посмотреть плоды своих трудов в Tux Paint и научились создавать штампы сами и теперь вы сможете ребенку создать штамп с героями его мультфильмов или его любимых животных.

Поскольку программа рассчитана для детей в ней достаточно настроек, чтобы обезопасить вас от неприятностей связанных с незнанием компьютерных основ ребенком. После установки в настройках в закладке ВИДЕО/ЗВУК советую убрать галочку напротив Включить звуковые эффекты, в закладке ЯЗЫКИ выбрать свой язык а их там достаточно много есть Русский, Украинский и ещё больше сотни других. Также в настройках можно выбрать разрешать вывод рисунка на печать или нет а также выбрать папку куда будут сохраняться фотографии. Программа абсолютно бесплатная и позволяет легко создавать рисунки и разукрашивать готовые картинки.

Options Key:

colorable
Work muchs like brushes — you pick the stamp to get the shape, and
then pick the color you want it to be. Nothing about the original
image is used except the transparency (from «alpha» channel).
The color of the stamp comes out solid.
noflip
The stamp cannot be flipped upside-down.
nomirror
The stamp cannot be mirrored left-to-right.
scale
If the full-sized image for a stamp is initially sized too large or small,
a scale factor may be specified. (Scale option may be in a percentage
(e.g., «scale 50%»), a fraction (e.g., «scale 2/1» or
«scale 1:2»), or a ratio (e.g., «scale 2»). An equal («=») can
be included.)
tintable
This alters the hue of the stamp. (Similar to «colorable,» but keeping
the detail of the shape.)
- tinter=normal (default)
  This is the normal tinting mode. (Hue range is +/- 18 degrees, 27 replace.)
- tinter=anyhue
  This remaps all hues in the stamp. (Hue range is +/- 180 degrees.)
- tinter=narrow
  This is like ‘anyhue’, but a narrower hue angle.
  (Hue range is +/- 6 degrees, 9 replace.)
- tinter=vector
  This maps ‘black through white’ to ‘black through destination’.

Starting out

Tux Paint starts with an empty canvas, ready to be drawn on.

A coloring book picture

You can also load ‘Starter’ pictures, like this coloring-book chicken.

Some ‘Starter’ pictures include both a foreground (which can’t be drawn over), and a background.

Tools

A simple drawing

Draw freehand pictures using the various brushes.

The Line tool

Perfectly straight lines can be drawn with the line tool.

The Shapes tool

Filled and unfilled shapes can be drawn in different colors and at various angles using the shapes tool.

Rubber Stamps

The stamp tool allows a wide array of pre-drawn and photo-realistic images to be added to a drawing.(Or compose the drawing entirely of stamps!)

Tinted Rubber Stamp images

Most stamps can be mirrored, flipped, shrunk and grown. Some stamps can be colored or tinted, like these flowers.

Outer-space rubber stamp images

Many stamp themes are included with Tux Paint. You can also add your own.
